Oak Room | Lounge and Bar
This historic oak paneled room is the perfect place to drink and relax for afternoon tea, pre-lunch and dinner.
We welcome guests and non-residents to retreat to the Oak room, our traditional lounge and bar. The all day bar menu is available for a selection of sandwiches and platters.
Here you can enjoy our carefully selected wines, that feature a wide-range of grapes, including organic wines from local boutique vineyards. We source local beverages – many of them organic and biodynamic.
The room hosts stunning panoramic views of the golden valley overlooking our terrace and surrounded by 3-acres of gardens. A log fire crackles during the colder months creating warmth and atmosphere.

The orange is unmistakable, a vibrant colour which lights up and adds joy to the moment. Aperol Spritz: the spirit that makes people spontaneously come together and sparks nothing but good times. Your aperitif moment turns into perfection while enjoying your Aperol Spritz with some snacks and appetisers that effortlessly match.
The aperitif ritual born in Veneto sees the Aperol Spritz served with traditional snacks, small dishes that usually include tiny sandwiches. Throughout the years, Aperol Spritz has become a versatile drink suitable for different types of food and moments, from a quick toast after a long day to those relaxed brunches we’d all love to have.
Sibling Seasonal Gin
The original Triple Distilled Gin has become renowned for its modern, fresh profile. Subtle notes of zesty citrus and light juniper lead, while distinctive tones of vanilla and blueberry round off some of the sharper fore-flavours and give the gin its characteristic smoothness.
We currently have the Autumn Edition, infused with fresh apples, blackberries and homemade cardamom syrup. The perfect autumnal G&T, serviced with a slice of strawberry, some fresh basil and lots of ice.
The Winter Edition is coming! Infused with fresh cranberries and clementine peel. This is the perfect gin for an winter G&T, with bitter-sweet flavours. Served with orange peel, regular tonic or ginger ale and lots of ice.
Gin Martini | Vermouth
The classic martini vermouth serviced in a chilled glass with gin of choice, and a twist.
Vermouth is a type of wine that’s flavored with botanicals, and can make a martini “dry” or “sweet.” A modern martini usually calls for a splash of dry vermouth, which is known for its more bitter and less-sugary taste.
If you’ve got an appropriately diluted martini, you shouldn’t need the ice, of course, that being said, when it comes to cocktails people should drink them however they prefer.
Burleigh’s guests can choose from 18 rooms including a couple of suits and six pet-friendly chambers. Classy materials, country colours and tasteful design set the scene for a great stay with view over the Cotswolds golden valleys.
